Christchurch is a fine example of the decorated gothic revival style seen in ecclesiastical architecture during the 19th century, and a venue very close to the hearts of Elaine and Bren, so it tied in nicely to provide beautiful wedding ceremony.
Elaine arrived at the venue in a beautiful 1930s Beauford preceding a world class bag piper, a piece of roots and heritage retained by the couple.
A traditional church ceremony took place with the couple guests involved int he joyous occasion, giving reading, singing hymns and sharing the love the couple have for each other…
After some group photographs in the church grounds, Elaine, Bren and their guest made their way to the reception venue. They both looked incredibly happy, as the made entrance to the amazing Coton House Farm Marquee.
After the wedding meal, there was heartfelt and funny wedding speeches, interrupted by a surprise introduction from Only Fools and Horse very own…. Del Boy.
He stole the show with a routine filled with hilarious jokes, stories and an all round showpiece.
After the speeches, I took Elaine and Bren in to the farm gardens for some wedding portraits, where they spent sometime alone to reflect on their special occasion.
For the first dance, the guests gathered around and waited for the bride and groom to make their entrance. The couple entertained their guests with a beautiful first dance.
… It was an honour and a pleasure to document Elaine & Bren’s wedding and an absolute pleasure to look back at the unique day they had in celebrating their marriage.
